Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and processing prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Operate pharmacy systems and cash registers
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
