Position Overview
The Certified Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include the assembly, setup, and utilization of surgical instruments and equipment during procedures, as well as passing instruments to the surgeon and their assistants. While work situations are primarily routine, they may quickly transition to urgent or critical scenarios, necessitating both guided and independent decision-making based on the circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred
  • Active Surgical Technologist Registration in Washington State required prior to employment
  • CPR certification at the Health Care Provider level
  • Previous experience is preferred

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salaries, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. As mandated by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive compensation range for candidates in each position. The pay scale is $41.05 USD. However, compensation is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including skill set, experience level, and certifications or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale corresponding to the applicant's years of experience.
