We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar in Thermal Physiology to join our research team at Penn State University. The successful candidate will work on an NIH-funded series of studies investigating the impact of environmental temperature and humidity on young and older adults.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and screen prospective human subjects for research studies
- Design and conduct laboratory-based experiments involving an environmental chamber
- Manage, analyze, and interpret data from research studies
- Prepare and publish manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals
- Assist graduate and undergraduate students in research training and development
- Present research findings at conferences and seminars
- Ph.D. in thermal physiology, exercise physiology, or a closely related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
