Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee the daily operations of our facilities as a Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management: Organize and assign daily tasks and general maintenance, including service requests and punch (make ready) work for the maintenance team.
  2. Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and mentor the maintenance team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Vendor Management: Schedule and manage outside vendors to maintain a high level of service quality.
  4. Maintenance and Repair: Complete inspections and schedule routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  5. Customer Service: Effectively handle resident service requests in a timely manner, adhering to company standards.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, expenditures, make-ready status, work-in-progress, and inventory management.
  7. Shop Organization: Maintain organization and safety of the maintenance shop, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  8. Appearance and Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, wearing clean uniforms and displaying name badges as required.
  9. Key Control: Maintain key control as per company policy.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance and supplies.
  • Minimum of three years prior experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and locksmith skills.
  • Type II HVAC certification required; Universal certification preferred.
  • Possession of own hand tools.
  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $26-$32 per hour.
