MRI Technologist Job Summary

At Olympia Orthopaedic Associates, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to create cross-sectional image scans of patients, assisting our physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses or diseases. This role requires direct interaction with patients and may involve administering intravenous injections of contrast dyes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients.
  • Administer intravenous injections of contrast dyes as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

Requirements:
  • Active ARRT or ARMRIT registration.
  • Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technician license.
  • Active BLS Certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Training specific to the operation of MRI scanners and performing MRI scans.
