About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MRI Specialist to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital. As an MRI Specialist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, communicating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and filming
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, patients, and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on MRI procedures and patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives to ensure high-quality imaging results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of experience as an MRI technologist or equivalent
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • 2 years of experience in sub-specialty MRI, scanning, or imaging
