About the Role

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and driving business growth. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality care by adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Pharmacy Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, personnel management, and workflow optimization.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff, including training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Business Development and Growth: Identify opportunities to drive business growth and improve performance, and develop and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to help them grow and succeed.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state where employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Must be certified in immunizations through an accredited organization.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
