Job Summary

Environmental Service Laboratories Inc is seeking a skilled Courier/Field Tech to join our team. As a Courier/Field Tech, you will be responsible for traveling to clients and providing assistance in collecting environmental samples.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow sampling and pick up schedule provided by Supervisor.
  • Travel to pick up and/or collect client samples.
  • Follow specific instructions pertaining to the type of sample being collected - surface water, groundwater, soil, wastewater, or drinking water.
  • Prepare bottleware orders including appropriate preservatives, labels, and packaging.
  • Complete appropriate related paperwork.
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations to include determining proper handling procedures of sample.
  • Perform additional projects as required.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform under pressure and withstand weather and field conditions.
  • Must have ability to effectively verbally communicate with clients and the public.
  • Must obtain acceptable results for an Initial Demonstration of Capability.
  • Basic PC skills, including Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook, including strong attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication and effective listening skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative and focus.

Qualifications

  • Must have a good driving record.
