Primary Responsibilities:

Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the timely processing of donated materials, including managing remote Donation Centers.
  • Contribute to store profitability by identifying sales opportunities and managing inventory and labor costs.
  • Maintain daily and weekly operational reports.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and register operations.
  • Maintain accountability for all store operations.
  • Order and stock necessary supplies.
  • Train and develop the management team.
  • Encourage full participation of the management team in achieving store objectives.
  • Schedule staffing requirements effectively.
  • Address employee concerns and provide performance feedback.
  • Administer disciplinary actions in coordination with the Human Resources department.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Organize store operations to enhance customer service and profitability.
  • Ensure the store's appearance meets company standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all operational policies and procedures.
  • Foster positive customer and donor relations through high service standards.
  • Train staff on safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with transportation for merchandise logistics.
  • Open and close the store punctually.
  • Manage daily deposits.

Customer Service Duties:

  • Process customer transactions efficiently.
  • Assist customers with their shopping needs.
  • Organize clothing on the sales floor for optimal presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
  • Welcome donors and manage merchandise intake.
  • Report any security concerns to management.

Operational Duties:

  • Assist with donation processing.
  • Sort and categorize donations appropriately.
  • Evaluate items for sales suitability.
  • Prepare clothing for display on the sales floor.
  • Document inventory accurately.
  • Manage unsellable items appropriately.

Additional Responsibilities:

May require travel to other locations as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position involves the management of 5 to 20 staff members, including Sales Associates and Assistant Managers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, push, pull, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the day.
