Pharmacy Receivables Analyst Job Description

At Meijer, we're committed to serving people and communities. As a Pharmacy Receivables Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving results and maintaining compliance across our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze aged pharmacy claims to identify trends and recommend solutions for cost savings and profitability.
  • Review and analyze payment activity to resolve payment exceptions, document actions, and pursue collection on unpaid claims.
  • Perform research and analysis on unapplied cash and liability situations, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Summarize and communicate findings to cross-functional business partners, including Pharmacy Third Party, Operations, and IT.
  • Provide financial and analytical support to Pharmacy Third Party through data and trend analysis, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Prepare and publish regular and ad-hoc reporting to cross-functional business partners.
  • Rebill claims to correct errors related to billing or payment issues using the Pharmacy PDX/EPS system and other available tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge in Excel and ability to learn company systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently identify and resolve exceptions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple activities within established deadlines.
  • Customer and results-oriented mindset.
