Overview:
At Fairview Health Services, we are seeking a Casual Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of skilled professionals. As a member of our collaborative rehab team, you will have the opportunity to work with patients across various settings and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:
As a Speech Language Pathologist at Fairview Health Services, your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and effective delivery of care within the scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and establishing outcomes. You will work closely with patients and families to develop individualized plans of care that address their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather pertinent data through examination and evaluation.
  • Determine treatment diagnosis and develop an individualized plan of care through collaboration with the patient and family.
  • Analyze data to identify needs and potential risks, and determine prognosis for recovery.
  • Establish individualized goals with the patient and/or caregiver, and implement and modify the plan of care based on reassessment and patient response.
  • Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team for all aspects of patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification by ASHA and Speech Language Pathology license in the state of Minnesota.
- Eligible for Temporary Minnesota License during Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Active Minnesota Basic Life Support certification.
