The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team in the Immediate Care Unit (F4).

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and be responsible for providing basic care to patients, including vital signs, ADLs, and other tasks as delegated by the team leader.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through education and training programs, including the basic critical care course, dysrhythmia course, and trauma nursing core certification.

Requirements for this role include a High School Diploma/GED, successful completion of a patient care technician course within 3 months of hire, and excellent communication skills. Previous patient care experience in an acute care setting is also preferred.
