This position is responsible for developing and maintaining trauma injury prevention and outreach programs in accordance with the American College of Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program and state designated trauma program guidelines. The successful candidate will utilize the trauma registry to create outreach and education programs for the community and professionals within the hospital. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a minimum of two years of experience in health education and/or emergency/critical care of trauma patients, and a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Additional certifications such as BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred.
