Pacific Retirement Services is seeking an experienced Steel Detailer/Checker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality construction drawings and ensuring accuracy in our detailing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing construction anchor bolt, permit, and approval drawings
  • Generating Shop Drawings for in-house fabrication
  • Checking work produced by other detailers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of detailing services

Requirements:

  • 2+ years prior metal building detailing, structural steel detailing, or related experience
  • High School or GED Diploma
  • Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree / Certificate with focus on Architecture, Steel Construction, or related field
  • Experience in MBS, AutoCAD, Tekla, Office 365
  • Experience in the Metal Building Industry
  • Basic knowledge of standard construction practices and ability to read architectural plans
  • Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new programs
