Clinical Triage Specialist

This professional position provides critical triage assessments for clients requesting initial services at Gracepoint. The successful candidate will make referrals for the assessment process and/or make referrals for other appropriate services. A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related discipline is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, or governmental regulations. Additionally, they will be able to write reports and document clinical activities effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions from managers, consumers, service providers, family members, and the general public. The ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships is crucial for proper functioning within the clinical role as a member of an interdependent clinical team. The successful candidate will be flexible and effective in a fast-paced, demanding environment. They will be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone and may be required to complete standing presentations involving speaking and listening to an audience. The work environment is a general office, healthcare setting, and the work is completed seated at a desk using standard office equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and work effectively in a team approach.
