Job Description

**Job Summary**

Southeast Unloading is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Unloader to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and stacking product in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to assist in the unloading process
  • Remove product from trucks safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures and processes
  • Coordinate with receivers and tow motor operators to ensure proper flow of inbound product
  • Hand-stack all floor loads in an organized manner with proper labels, correct ti-hi's, and no mixed product
  • Regularly ensure that product loads are properly handled to minimize damage to products
  • Submit paperwork correctly and timely
  • Wrap pallets to ensure stability when storing products
  • Assure quality on pallet condition

Requirements:

  • Stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and move continuously
  • Frequently walk throughout the workday
  • Frequently reach above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh pounds and occasionally, pounds when unloading and sorting pallet products
  • Push and pull frequently
  • Function and operate comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
  • Endure extreme temperatures of heat and cold
  • Withstand loud noise and distractions
  • 20/20 Vision with correction
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic English reading, writing and mathematical skills
  • Must have reliable transportation

Southeast Unloading is a third-party logistics services provider headquartered in Northeast Florida. Our company is contracted to unload general merchandise, grocery, perishable, retail foods and miscellaneous products and/or pharmaceuticals in warehouses and distribution centers. We provide freight-unloading services, pallet management, tote washing, trailer stripping and other services such as driver-assisting, picking, will-call, export labeling, housekeeping, and janitorial to our customers' warehouses and distribution centers.
