Job Location:
This position can be situated in various locations, including Longmont, Boise, or Folsom.
Role Overview
In this capacity, you will offer technical leadership to our worldwide SSD testing teams, guiding the establishment of infrastructure necessary for comprehensive product capability validation. You will also spearhead enhancements in testing practices, assess industry developments, and contribute to the evolution of next-generation SSD functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Validation Architect for the global SSD testing team infrastructure Develop and execute innovative testing strategies for Micron SSDs Create prototype testing frameworks and solutions Assess and refine testing architecture and design Analyze automation frameworks for improved efficiency Facilitate system-level debugging utilizing various tools Collaborate with product development teams to define testing standardsCustomer Support:
Deliver technical assistance to both internal and external stakeholders Provide expertise on PCIe, NVMe, and TCG specifications Represent Micron in industry standards organizationsRequired Qualifications:
Over 10 years of relevant industry experience Profound understanding of SSD performance metrics Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field Proficient in Python, C/C++, and protocols such as PCIe and NVMe Familiar with both Linux and Windows operating systems Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced environmentsCompensation:
