Job Title: Coding & Automation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coding & Automation Supervisor to join our team at Four Winds Health. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coding and automation processes to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of medical coders to achieve timely and accurate coding and automation results.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional workgroups/committees to address coding and charge entry issues.
  • Develop and present reports to senior management to ensure operational workflow, productivity, and results standards are met.
  • Provide work assignments, performance feedback, and corrective action to team members as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new employees to ensure they are equipped to handle the most current coding regulations and guidance.
  • Monitor and resolve daily revenue cycle operations to achieve agreed-upon revenue cycle metrics for the Coding team.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure consistent coding and documentation policies and procedures are followed.
  • Act as a resource to clinic staff on revenue cycle matters.
Requirements:
  • Active CPC Certification or equivalent.
  • Four years of revenue cycle experience, preferably in physician billing.
  • Urgent Care and Occupational Health Billing experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality.
