Job Summary

The Beaver Companies is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in creating, modifying, analyzing, and optimizing 2D and 3D designs using specific CAD software.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with project bidding and planning, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project requirements.
  • Create layout and machine control data for GPS equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy in geospatial data collection.
  • Work closely with project managers and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with site and highway plan sets to ensure accurate and up-to-date design information.
  • Develop progress reporting and as-built drawings, providing valuable insights into project progress and completion.
Requirements
  • Technical school certification, 2-year associate's degree, or 2-3 years of position-related experience required.
  • Experience with one of the following CAD software required: Autodesk Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Bentley MicroStation, AGTEK, or Carlson.
  • Surveying or GPS experience a plus.
  • Field or office construction background a plus.
