About the Role

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ambulatory Services Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and disinfection of our ambulatory healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disinfection and Cleaning: Utilize provided chemicals to disinfect surfaces, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.
  • Furniture and Fixture Maintenance: Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Reception and Entrance Cleaning: Clean reception glass and entrance windows to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
  • Equipment and Supply Management: Move and arrange chairs, stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning and storage.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors, as well as perform carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste, and perform routine cleaning on general trash and biohazardous waste containers.
  • Supply Replenishment: Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other essential items to ensure a well-stocked environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
  • Alarm System Management: Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm as necessary.
Requirements
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
