Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer II to join our team at Ring. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines to support our business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and Discuss Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders across various verticals to understand their needs and gather requirements.
  • Build New Data Ingestions: Design and implement new data ingestions using a combination of Native AWS services and internal Amazon tools.
  • Maintain/Improve Existing Pipelines: Ensure existing data pipelines meet evolving standards and corporate mandates by implementing improvements and enhancements.
  • Develop Frameworks and Tools: Create frameworks or tools for internal teams and external stakeholders to manage data effectively.
  • Perform Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data hygiene by team members and supporting teams.
About the Team

The Ring Data Warehouse team is responsible for managing the centralized data repository for Ring. We bring in and publish data from numerous internal and external sources, which are used by various stakeholders such as Ring Product engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales information.
