Mechanical Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team at Staff Works in Shelton, CT. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, including railway safety carts and X-Ray machines.

• Conduct inspections of incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve inspection-related issues and improve processes.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on inspection procedures and quality control measures.

• 2+ years of experience in a metal fabrication environment, including weldments, paint & powder coating, machined parts, formed parts, and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and inspection procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
