Aquacare Physical Therapy, a premier provider of outpatient physical therapy services in Maryland and Delaware, is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. We offer a unique opportunity to work in an innovative mobile rehab model that brings the benefits of outpatient (Part B) therapy directly to patients' homes.

This role offers the chance to spend more time with each patient and manage a smaller daily caseload compared to a traditional outpatient clinic. As an orthopedic rehabilitation specialist, you will provide outpatient-level therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care emphasizing strength building, mobility, balance improvement, and pain reduction in a home or community setting.
  • Treat individuals with diverse orthopedic needs, including those with injuries, pain, or movement dysfunctions, as well as active older adults focused on mobility and injury prevention.
  • Create personalized care plans that cater to each patient's unique goals and requirements.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Delaware Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or part of the PT compact program.
  • Graduate of an accredited university with a minimum degree of Bachelor's in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
  • Basic Life Support CPR Certification.

Work Environment:

  • The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Duties require extensive standing and walking.
  • Duties involve lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.
