Key Locations: Various locations in the Southern region

FactoryFix is in search of a dedicated Field Service Technician to become part of our Compression Systems and Services Division. This position entails the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of diverse air compressor systems and components. A keen eye for detail and strong technical skills are vital for excelling in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Offer technical support for equipment installations and repairs
  • Perform safety evaluations
  • Keep detailed records of service activities
  • Enhance customer understanding of our products and services
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Clarify practices and procedures
  • Ensure optimal equipment performance through preventive maintenance

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in troubleshooting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical capability to lift and handle heavy equipment

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams
  • Provide technical assistance to clients
  • Support and mentor fellow technicians
  • Collaborate with Service Coordinator regarding parts and supplies
  • Experience with network systems installations
  • Knowledge of vibration troubleshooting
  • Understanding of air quality standards
