Tire Specialist Position

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Tire Specialist to join our team at Superior Tire Service Inc.
About the Company: Superior Tire Service Inc has been providing exceptional sales, support, and service to wheelpersons and their passenger, fleet, specialty, and OTR vehicles for over 60 years.
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tire safety and wear assessments, flat tire repairs, and air pressure service as required. They will also dismount, rotate, and mount/re-mount tires for inspection, retread, installation, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tire safety and wear assessments, flat tire repairs, and air pressure service as required.
- Rotate and mount/re-mount tires for inspection, retread, installation, and repair.
- Utilize power tools, compressed air tools, manual tools to include torque wrenches as required.
- Operate hydraulic jacks to raise and lower vehicles.
- Perform various tasks related to tire repair and maintenance.
Requirements:
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Able to lift 50-lbs.
- Strong physical dexterity.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Able to operate hand, power, and air compression/hydraulic tools.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
