Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Olde City Quilts in Burlington, NJ. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving company revenue by selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and identify customer needs to provide fast, friendly service
  • Explain products and services to customers to ensure they meet their requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and maintain a well-stocked store
  • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately using our POS system
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or related fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sewing and/or quilting is an asset

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum based on experience, plus benefits
