About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our Breast Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of breast imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammographic imaging exams on patients, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, wire localizations, ductograms, cyst aspirations, and core biopsies.
  • Operate equipment, calculate and select proper technical factors, and ensure all images meet department quality standards.
  • Provide education to patients regarding exams, ensure radiation protection, and assist physicians with invasive procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mammography regulations, quality control tests, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic Technologist in the category of Radiography.
  • Valid Massachusetts license in the category of Mammography.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
