Job Title: Senior Industry Specialist

Ampcus Inc. is a leading provider of technology and business consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Industry Specialist.

Job Summary:

The Senior Industry Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives across Amazon's Existing Buildings and Expansion portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainability principles and the ability to manage stakeholder interests and support internal communications and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the 2040 NZC Glidepath for multiple building formats
  • Prioritize the most impactful carbon reduction initiatives for Sustainable Buildings
  • Plan and execute implementation of initiatives across the portfolio
  • Define and test new innovative solutions to unlock future carbon reduction initiatives
  • Build out and support reporting mechanism to track impact
  • Lead collaborative monthly/weekly reviews to align stakeholders across the org
  • Establish cross-functional relationships to leverage resources and integrate onto larger company-wide initiatives/goals
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in store design, construction, operations, or sustainability
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Structural or Mechanical engineering, or a relevant study
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience with design and implementation of sustainability programs related to construction materials, energy, waste management, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in high volume industrial operations or facilities management
  • Experience working with procurement to drive sustainable product selection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • PMP, LEED, or Well Accredited
