The Amazon Account Integrity team is seeking a talented Machine Learning Applied Scientist to join their innovative team of scientists who use machine learning and statistical techniques to help Amazon provide the best customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and model terabytes of data to create state-of-art algorithms that solve real-world problems
  • Build advanced algorithmic systems to manage the trust and safety of millions of customers daily
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective risk management strategies

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis
  • Strong programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or related languages

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,200/year in our highest geographic market. Our compensation package includes equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.
