About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician IV to join our dynamic team at Medtronic. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and test equipment used in the manufacturing of our innovative medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of precision measurement and test equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and improve calibration procedures and protocols to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, including ISO and FDA guidelines.
  • Document calibration results meticulously and maintain accurate records in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and support for equipment and calibration needs.
  • Lead training initiatives for junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices in calibration processes.
  • Participate in audits and inspections, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the calibration lab.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in calibration or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025) and measurement principles.
  • Proficiency in calibration equipment, software, and tools, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with electronic, mechanical, and optical calibration techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance in the medical device sector.

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $68,800.00 - $103,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
