Job Summary

Rainbow Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing telecommunications equipment, including telephone and broadband internet systems. You will work closely with customers to ensure that their services are up and running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair telecommunications equipment, including telephone and broadband internet systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customer needs are met
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and projects
  • Use technical equipment and tools to diagnose and repair issues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of work completed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Technology or Networking preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in telephony and broadband internet installation and repair
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds independently and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work continuously with technical equipment in an outside plant setting. The work environment is physically demanding and requires frequent bending, carrying, climbing, and lifting. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
