Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator II to join our team at Arizona State Gov. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including large vehicles and machinery, to maintain and repair roadways, right of ways, and flood control structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as loaders, graders, and excavators, to perform routine maintenance and repairs on roadways and infrastructure.
  • Maintain and perform operator-level maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform manual labor, including manual excavation, grading, and other tasks as required.
  • Prepare and submit reports on equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, such as loaders and graders, required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
