Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager Role

  • Proven experience managing custom residential renovation or commercial construction projects valued at $250K or more, with proficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, including critical path management and the roles of various trade partners.
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with construction costs, materials, methods, and safety protocols.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Nashville.
  • Experience with urban core restoration projects, particularly historic homes, is advantageous, as is familiarity with Buildertrend software.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager

  • Oversee the construction process, including preconstruction planning, scope definition, and project estimates, supported by our in-house estimating team.
  • Coordinate project schedules to ensure that subcontractors and internal teams are prepared for site activities.
  • Facilitate communication among all project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and in-house labor teams.
  • Consult with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring construction accuracy and project completion within established timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain organized project documentation from inception through to close-out.
