Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and improve existing web-based Safety Information System (SIS) applications, focusing on web and database systems.
  • Execute database maintenance and enhancements utilizing scripting, load utilities, and stored procedures.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain intricate queries for database management.
  • Design and implement stored procedures for report generation compatible with SSRS.
  • Create and manage comprehensive database dictionaries, translating requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure change control and configuration management throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Prepare, update, and review necessary application documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in computer systems analysis, design, programming, or systems integration.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.
  • At least four (4) years of proven experience in database programming and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio ASP/ASP.NET/C#, JSRS Remote Scripting, JavaScript, VBScript, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Microsoft SQL, including complex query writing and stored procedure creation.
  • Completion of Cybersecurity Competencies of IAT Level II, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or Security+ CE, is required prior to employment.
  • Availability for communication with the COR and SIS Branch Chief during standard business hours.
