Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders in the space sector to ascertain their analytical requirements.
  • Transform current and future operational concepts into simulations for evaluating space systems.
  • Design and enhance data models for modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks.
  • Participate in Agile analytical sprint activities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists on analytical methodologies.
  • Conduct research on technical development aspects related to space.
  • Present analytical findings to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience.
  • Experience in space domain operations, including astrodynamics and orbital mechanics.
  • Familiarity with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge oneself and peers.
  • Possession of an active Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Joint Environment or Combatant Command.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Experience with database languages, including MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using modeling tools like Cameo Systems Modeler and orbital analysis visualization software.

Salary Range: $102,000 - $180,000
