Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering work at our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work at assigned manufacturing facilities
  • Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and standards
  • Ensure effective communication between all disciplines and project participants
  • Work with multiple departments to define and execute successful projects
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects at varying sites, maintaining budgets, timing, and quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years of end-user experience with CapEx projects, maintenance, equipment/process design, and food production environment
  • Project management experience, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CPG packaging technology and automation
  • AutoCAD software experience
  • Knowledge of PLCs, 3A standards, and USDA regulations
