Job Description
The Senior Systems Design Engineer will play a critical role in defining new products that add value to identified systems. This includes collaborating with IC designers, product managers, and application engineers to steer the roadmap and develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in board-level power electronics design, including power converters and inverters.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate system and market knowledge through academic literature reviews, competitive analysis, product teardowns, and customer visits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new products and promote them through thought leadership
- Develop and debug software and firmware
- Write technical content, such as datasheets and whitepapers
- Present at technical conferences and symposia
Salary Information
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,100 - $138,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, job duties, and work location.
