Job Summary

Variosystems Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, and collaborating with other departments to resolve billing issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire codes, and other relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify potential safety and compliance issues.
  • Process electronic payments and checks, and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing reports and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
