Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic environments for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations
  • Transport patients to and from the Operating Room
  • Position patients for surgery and identify and care for biological specimens
  • Prepare the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program required
  • 2 or more years of experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Certification of Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License required
