Job Summary

The successful candidate will work as a level 2 MAPS Risk Analyst, delivering support for all Markets LOBs in Chicago. This 2nd shift role requires a high-pressure trading environment and the ability to assimilate information from multiple sources quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily technical change meetings, managing global resources through the bank's change process.
  • Generate reports using presentation and analysis tools like Tableau and MS Office.
  • Develop a well-rounded understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Adhere to written procedures and policies for Change Management.
Requirements
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure trading environment.
  • Ability to develop expertise quickly and independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to rationalize the impact of multiple concurrent issues/requests.
  • Independent motivation to continuously improve themselves and the environment.
  • Intuitive problem-solving ability, with a diverse foundation of knowledge, skills, and experiences.
  • Confidence, focus, and adaptable communication style required to effectively coordinate restoration efforts for high-impact technology incidents.
Technical Skills
  • Operating systems: Solaris, Linux, Windows.
  • Scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python, SQL (Intermediate level: multi-table joins, grouping results, etc...).
  • Grid computing and batch management.
  • Well-rounded understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging).
