This position is part of the Native American Connections team, working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services and/or Clinical Supervisor. The role involves providing direct client counseling services to individuals and groups participating in the residential program.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide substance use counseling to individuals and groups, adhering to the program's description and content structure.
Review assessments and provide referral services as necessary.
Document and monitor client records, including demographic data, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Assist clients with individualized service planning and reviews.
Offer culturally sensitive therapy modalities through existing services or outside referrals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure coordination of care and progress in treatment.

Requirements:

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health field, or equivalent experience
AZ Board of Behavioral Health License, preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations

Experience working with Native American populations, preferred
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of addiction treatment modalities
