Job Summary
Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician II to join our team. As a Radiology Technician II, you will operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs of designated body areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Department Director and Clinical Coordinator, operate radiology equipment to obtain radiographs of designated body areas.
- Perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations by mixing, preparing, and administering contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures.
- Serve as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolving work-related problems and coordinating patient flow.
Requirements
- Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
- Current California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit required within one year of hire
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course
