Radiology Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at PHS Bio-Medical Services. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers and will be successful in accomplishing their imaging needs. You will participate in PI/QC activities, assist in maintaining performance improvement programs, and oversee radiology areas and/or staff in the absence of management.
You will be responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS, maintaining department supplies, and promoting teamwork and good customer service. Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintaining supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
- Function as the first line interface with customers and be successful in accomplishing their imaging needs.
- Participate in PI/QC activities.
- Assist in maintaining performance improvement programs.
- Oversee radiology areas and/or staff in the absence of management.
- Maintain department supplies.
- Promote teamwork and good customer service.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
- Schedule for assigned sub-departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $40.00 to $55.00.
