The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, including technical maintenance tickets, unit turnovers, and after-hours on-call rotations.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can work independently and collaboratively with others. They will be responsible for overseeing work performed by contractors, maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times, and possessing reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including appliance repairs, carpentry, and painting
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with unit turnovers and prepare apartments for new residents
  • Oversee work performed by contractors and ensure quality workmanship
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of prior apartment maintenance experience
  • Expertise in appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall, and painting
