Position Overview

The Supply Chain Coordinator is an essential part of Proceanic's operations, contributing significantly to the daily management and administration of logistics. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient logistics support for Proceanic's operations both in the Americas and internationally, while continuously enhancing the logistics, health, safety, and quality management systems.

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations and the ROV Operations Manager, this position collaborates closely with ROV Supervisors and the Corporate Administrator. The Coordinator is entrusted with the authority to manage daily logistics objectives autonomously, within the framework of company policies and budgetary guidelines. As the individual gains experience, their level of independence in decision-making is expected to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee international freight, import/export, and customs logistics for equipment.
  • Manage equipment maintenance, including tracking and expediting.
  • Administer equipment inventory and procurement data management.
  • Coordinate both international and domestic travel logistics.
  • Handle visa, medical, and drug & alcohol testing logistics.
  • Manage personnel training logistics and tracking.
  • Supervise logistics for exhibitions and events.
  • Oversee IT and infrastructure logistics management.
  • Administer ISNetworld and manage HSE data.
  • Foster strong working relationships with logistics subcontractors.
  • Coordinate ISO 9000 Quality Management System activities as required.
  • Co-chair and host monthly safety meetings, ensuring action items are addressed.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead weekly operations meetings.
  • Support campaign logistics for ROV Supervisors.
  • Assist in client vetting and vendor approval processes.
  • Provide clerical support to the Corporate Administrator as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Travel as necessary for operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

This is a Junior Level Management Position requiring 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities; strong logistics management expertise.

Educational Background: A degree or certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Additional Requirements: Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US. A full clean driver's license and passport are required.
