Position Title: Electronics Repair Specialist

Position Summary:

OPEX Corporation is seeking a dedicated Electronics Repair Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to a full-time schedule during standard business hours. Candidates must possess an Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training with a certification in electronics. We value individuals who are communicative, reliable, and detail-oriented, making OPEX an ideal environment for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electronic components to the component level.
  • Conduct system-level troubleshooting and repairs (training will be provided).
  • Perform soldering of through-hole and surface mount technology components during repair processes.
  • Generate daily production reports for individual contributions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or a completed technical certification in electronics is mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret various technical documents, including schematics and data sheets.
  • Fundamental knowledge of both Analog and Digital circuitry.
  • Experience in soldering through-hole and SMT components (IEC/IPC-A-610 Training and certification is advantageous).
  • Proficient in using standard testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Effective communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A+ Certification is a plus.
  • All candidates will be required to complete and pass an electronics examination prior to employment offer.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Engagement in activities such as squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching may be required.
