Job Details

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Whitworth Women's Facility in Hartwell, Georgia.

Job Summary

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a valid LPN license, and be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with a range of physical and behavioral health needs
  • Work collaboratively with RNs and medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to RNs or medical staff
  • Participate in patient education and counseling to promote healthy behaviors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
