About the Role

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources and Climate Resilience Engineer to join our team in Hartford, CT or New Haven, CT. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing water resource management and resiliency strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to water resources and resiliency projects from concept to completion.
  • Design and oversee the construction of water infrastructure projects.
  • Evaluate and implement sustainable stormwater management and flood control solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise in climate resilience and adaptation strategies.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with state and federal funding programs.
  • Relationships with/experience working with public sector clients.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
