Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
As a Medical Technologist at TriCities Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluating laboratory samples and performing tests to provide accurate results.
- Operating laboratory equipment and maintaining it according to manufacturer instructions.
- Analyzing data and reporting findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Providing education and training to colleagues and students on laboratory procedures and policies.
- Participating in quality control and quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Required Qualifications:- A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science.
- A Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Laboratory Scientist certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
