Middle Office Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Office Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing Trade Settlement client relationships and providing excellent customer service to our growing client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client portfolios and agency trades in our loan Trade Settlement outsourcing services
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with clients to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements
  • Coordinate with trade counterparties to receive and review par and distressed trade documentation
  • Coordinate trade closings among clients, counterparties, and agents to ensure seamless transactions
  • Review trade documentation, including trade confirms, assignment agreements, and funding memos, for discrepancies prior to settlement
  • Follow up on outstanding trades and keep current comments updated to ensure timely resolution
  • Deliver closing packets to custodians and clients before stated deadlines to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Report client metrics and trends on a monthly basis to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • BA or BS or equal work experience
  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of par and distressed loans and documentation
  • Knowledge of trade fee calculations and ability to read and interpret credit agreements
  • Experience with daily loan transactions and personal impact
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of job responsibilities and perform duties accurately and timely

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to ClearPar/TSI/Markit WSO systems
